Beatport is probably the most famous of the (legal) download sites for electronic music. I’ve been using it for good number of years now, but with the new features that they’ve added, the huge number of exclusives, and the new DJ profiles pages, it now stands head and shoulders above the rest. In the past I’ve had a bit of a love/hate relationship with the store – I found navigation wasn’t as nice as some of the other sites (TiD, Juno etc), but I’ve made the conscious decision that this year, I’ll give it a proper go. To give it a test run, I’ve updated my profile page and added my first chart of 2013 (and I’ve purchased all of the tunes from the chart). I see this year could see my music collection get significantly larger, I might even share some of the mixes I’ve been working on 😉
